Yanbu Cement shareholders agreed during their AGM
on Thursday the 17th of March 2005 to pay a dividend of SR 20 per
share for the year 2004. This was announced during the meeting of the AGM headed
by Sheik Suleiman Al-Rajhi, Vice Chairman of the board in the presence of the
board members and company shareholders.
The AGM also agreed to absolve the board members
and selected new auditors for the financial year 2005. The board was also
re-elected except for two entrants, namely Mr.Ibrahim Al-Esa, who replaced Mr
Mohammed Al-Esa, and Mr Mohammed Al-Rajhi, who replaced Mr.Ali-Al-Rajhi. Mr.
Abuzinadah said that the company would start paying dividends to shareholders as
of Sunday the 20th March 2005. The total amount of dividens to be
distributed for the year 200 would be SR 420 Million.
