Systems and Internal Audit is a service orientated department,managing the Company's Integrated Information Systems and Internal Audit.

The Department is headed by a Saudi Engineer , experienced in Computer and related Hardware and Software and a Graduate Computer Engineer from King Saud University,Riyadh.The Company today has a  link between the Plant and Head Office as well as LAN and WAN networks for information processing,co-ordinating and sharing them between different user groups.

Information Systems Section:

The Integrated Information System of the company which has been in operation since 1998,is managed by the Information Systems Section of this Department. They also keep up to date with current technological changes and applies these changes as and when needed for fast and smooth data manipulation and transfers within the organization. Yanbu Cement Co. has been a MICROSOFT Beta Test Site from the time of Windows 2000 beta versions and has finally adopted this operating system throughout the organization. Currently,Windows 2000 Server Operating system is used for the servers and Windows 2000 Professional Operating system on all workstations. We are now currently Beta testing Microsoft XP (Whistler) Operating System. 

Internal Audit Section:

The Internal Audit section keeps the Company's Operation in check based on Company Regulations. All transaction bills and vouchers are scrutinized meticulously before being handed over to Finance for completing their tasks. Changes to Company regulations, which the Management incorporates from time to time, is entered into the Rules Book by Internal Audit. All transactions of the Company have to pass through Internal Audit before final processing.
