TRAINING

Yanbu Cement Co established its training center at the site in 1998 for training employees and other companies' if requested. The Center has an agreement with the Arab Cement Union for full co-ordination to supply it with qualified teaching engineers and trainers and also approves the certificates issued by the training center. Recently the training center established a fully equipped English language laboratory and a qualified teacher was employed for training the company employees.The center applies Summer Training in addition to the following types of training:

- Internal Training: For new Saudi employees in our company (preparation for technicians and engineers)

- External Training: Our goal of this is co-operation between YCC and other Saudi cement companies in the Kingdom to create efficient Saudi employees.

- Co-op training: For University students if requested by their Universities which is considered the best way for linking students with Industrial works. We aim to elevate the national industry.

Services offered to trainees:

Medical Services, Housing- bonus for the trainees of the company, Restaurant & Mosque, Supermarket, Recreation Center

Major Components of the training center:

  1. Complete equipped training rooms (visual training)
  2. Practical Training Room with computers and simulators to show production process
  3. Equipped Supply Workshop
  4. Fully Equipped English Laboratory with capacity for 20 trainees.
  5. Fully equipped theater with 200 capacity.
  6. Equipped library provided with the necessary books and references.
